Bigger bug
If you didn't get word that the R6 Maintenance Release for QuickBooks 2014 (or QuickBooks Enterprise 14) was full of bugs, and you have been experiencing issues since installing it, you may be in need for technical support. While we have previously published a couple of 'blog' articles on this topic we wanted to make you aware that information is changing 'still' on a daily basis with respect to the issues associated with R6.
While I have posted a couple of 'updates' to my earlier articles in the 'comments section' of those blogs, I thought I would simply give you the links to the four (4) Technical Support articles at Intuit so you can read (and subscribe) to updates if you want to stay on top of what is happening.

An SDK related issue is being reported by Intuit for QuickBooks 2014 products with the R6 update installed when using Windows XP; while Intuit is only showing these problems with Windows XP, they have also been seen with other Operating Systems. This problem prevents many SDK based applications, including those using the QuickBooks WebConnector, from working with QuickBooks For more information on this issue see Intuit's support site at: Error: Entry point could not be located after updating to 2014 R6 on Windows XP (Technical Support article: KB ID# SLN86786)
