Insightful Accountant Announces Inaugural Advisory Panel

We are excited to announce the members of Insightful Accountant’s inaugural Advisor Panel. The members, listed below, have agreed to serve on the panel for terms of 12 or 18 months. The primary purpose of the panel is to help us stay in touch with the audience we serve and to continue to provide the content you want. The panel members will also be instrumental in helping us shape the future of Insightful Accountant by identifying areas of improvement, new opportunities and being a collective sounding board for us as we explore what is next for our business.

Anita Robinson

Anita Robinson of Synergy Tax & Accounting Inc has been in the accounting and tax preparation business for more than 25 years.

Enrolled Agent since 1996, an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2007, Anita has been a member of Intuit's Advisor & Customer Council and has served as a Writing Committee Member for the Oregon Licensed Tax Consultants, Oregon Licensed Tax Preparers, as well as, the Enrolled Agents Exam.  Anita has taught tax classes for several local and nationwide organizations.

Laura Redmond

Laura Redmond is founder of Redmond Accounting Inc, a boutique cloud accounting firm in Silicon Valley that was awarded Intuit's 2015 Top 20 Firm of the Future and a top 10 ProAdvisor for 'Leading QuickBooks Online Practice.' Her firm is based around QuickBooks Online and its ecosystem of apps. She also co-authors Intuit's QuickBooks Online training and certification programs for accounting professionals. She is a regular speaker at national accounting technology conferences and member of Intuit's esteemed Trainer/Writer Network. She joined forces with industry colleagues to co-create Aero Workflow app for accounting firms, in order to manage their service delivery with staff, performing recurring tasks for multiple clients

Paul Slaney

Paul is the owner of Accessible Small Business Solutions, a remote firm with a focus on advisory services at the CFO and Controller level. He is Advanced Certified with QuickBooks Online and also certified with QuickBooks Enterprise. He has implemented numerous enterprise products within a variety of industries.   He has over 28 years of experience in both financial management and operations management.   Specializing in operations and control Paul has helped many companies increase their efficiencies through process improvement.  He has solid experience with both domestic and international companies within the private equity sector.

Paul's leadership extends to team development, where he has motivated, trained, and mentored accounting staff to achieve top-level performance. He leads by example and thoroughly enjoys transferring his accounting skills as a teacher.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington, an MBA from Boston University, and is a licensed Certified Public Bookkeeper.  He lives in Massachusetts with his wife JoAnn, his German Shepard Lady Bear, and Angie the wonder-cat.  On his off days he enjoys hunting, fishing, and increasing his longevity through working out. Paul is proud to have served in the United States Army for 14 years as a Paratrooper, a Green Beret, and he is a Desert Storm veteran

Sheri Radler

Sheri Radler is a seasoned professional and heads R Accounting Group, a firm specializing in Client Accounting Services (CAS). With a diverse background in accounting and organizational management, Sheri has collaborated with businesses ranging from startups to publicly traded global entities, accumulating a wealth of experience and expertise along the way.

Tailor Hartman

Tailor Hartman is the founder of Celerity Accounting with over 10 years of experience in the accounting Industry. He specializes in taking the pain out of small business accounting and outsourcing the accounting for businesses. He teaches accounting courses at a local community college. Tailor has a Bachelor's in accounting, Master's in Business, and he's a CPA in the state of Wisconsin. In his free time he loves exercising, sports, and hiking to great landscape photography spots!
