ProAdvisor iPhone App
2 of 2

Raj Bhavani, Senior Product Manager, Intuit
I recently had the opportunity to speak with Luis Sanchez and Raj Bhavani regarding the somewhat recent release of Intuit's QuickBooks ProAdvisor Mobile App for iPhone. Most of you know Luis Sanchez as the North American Director of the ProAdvisor Program for Intuit. Raj is a Senior Product Manager responsible for driving the ProAdvisor mobile and program strategy. He works closely with the ProAdvisor Program team in bringing to market the resources and tools (e.g. Mobile Apps) that will help the ProAdvisor community stay connected and take advantage of the program benefits.
I asked Raj to give me the "why" for the App and he told me, "The primary purpose of this FREE (to ProAdvisors) App is to provide QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program members with easy access to critical product alerts, membership information and access to chat support on-the-go using their mobile device." He further stated that "The App is designed exclusively for members of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. It allows them to easily sign in to the App using their ProAdvisor user name and password".
When asked whether Intuit has plans to support the Android OS the answer was a little more corporate, but Raj replied "Based on the feedback we received from our ProAdvisors, we released our 1st version of the ProAdvisor Program Mobile App for iPhone a few months ago and we are always looking into multiple aspects of enhancing the experience and extending the user base. If and when new application versions are released, we will make them available instantly to all of our ProAdvisors. The best way for you to stay on top of critical notices and updates to the ProAdvisor Program is to log in to your ProAdvisor member website (www.qbproadvisor.com/signin) frequently, and read our newsletters and alerts."
When asked to summarize the core benefits of the App, Raj told me "The core benefits of the App include Real-Time Alerts, Live Chat With Experts and a Membership Dashboard that allow anytime access to key membership account information, customer account number, license number and ProAdvisor level." (depending on mobile network availability.).
So now that you know who Raj is and what Intuit is doing with the QuickBooks ProAdvisor App, we'd like to get some feedback on it from you. Have you used it? If not, click here to download. If so, what do you think? Have you provided any direct feedback to Intuit on the things you like and don't like about it? Will you provide some feedback to us?
This is Raj's "baby", so he'd truly like to hear what you think. You can reach him directly at raj_bhavani@intuit.com. If you have not taken a stroll through the App yet you can read a short overview about it on the Intuit Accountants News Central site by clicking here.
